The Peerless Review renders a publication decision by objectively evaluating the essay’s conformity to the generic features of scholarly writing. By moving from the subjective assessments of traditional peer review to an objective assessment of the formal characteristics of genre, Peerless eliminates political and disciplinary biases as barriers to publication.

When you submit a new piece of research to The Peerless Review, the editors will do an assessment of whether your essay satisfies all the generic requirements necessary for publication (these requirements are enumerated below).

To Submit:

To submit to The Peerless Review, access the submission portal for the journal through Researchers. One (you will first need to create an account). Include a cover letter that briefly summarizes the major argument of your essay and indicates the general academic fields to which it contributes (select 4-5 disciplinary tags from the list available here). All manuscripts should be submitted as Word documents. While The Peerless Review encourages that you remove all identifiers from your submission, this is not required.

Your submission of an essay will be taken as evidence of your belief that the manuscript conforms to required criteria outlined below and that you hold the exclusive rights to the text.

What Should I Expect?

Upon submitting your essay via the Researchers. One platform, it will be available for viewing on that website. If all the criteria (see above) are satisfied, your work will be featured on the website of The Peerless Review, and formally added to the Researchers. One archive of Peerless publications. Generally, the review of your manuscript should take no more than a month.

If your submission does not satisfy the requirements above, the editors will inform you which ones the essay did not meet. If your manuscript is rejected, we encourage you to make revisions so that the essay meets all the criteria. When a resubmitted manuscript satisfies the requirements, it will be published. The Peerless Review aims to be an inclusive journal – we want to accept all quality work that we have the opportunity to publish.

You retain all of the rights to your essay in perpetuity. Further, readers can comment on your essay and you have the ability to edit and revise your essay in response to the feedback you get from other scholars after publication. Researchers One and The Peerless Review will also help to spread news of the publication via their social media accounts.
